Vincent Impex has been involved in many Diversified Business activities.

Petroleum Sector

We have been engaged in facilitating Project development and trading on behalf of large Global Conglomerates in the areas of both upstream and downstream Oil & Gas sectors.

Middle Distillates

We had been in the past years engaged with TRAFUGURA Beheer BV from 2002 to 2006  assisted Global Trading Conglomerate such as Trafigura in securing business for  Export of Naptha from our sole National Refinery ERL.

Our Principle Zhenhua Oil has been an Enlisted Supplier of the State owned Petroleum corporation namely Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation ( BPC ) for supplying Gasoil.

Currently we represent Zhenhua Oil ( One of the Largest State owned Petroleum companies of China ) and have been very actively pursuing on opportunities with Middle Distillate and Gas Oil opportunities in Bangladesh market in the private sector as well.

LPG –After liberalization of Import of LPG , the company helped Build inroads on behalf of  its Principal  PETREDEC SERVICES ASIA PTE Limited( One of the Largest LPG Trading and Shipping companies with Operations worldwide ) to have made the first breakthrough in Bangladesh market for facilitating supply Bulk LPG since 1998 to all the Import Terminal starting with Bashundhara LP Gas, Kleenheat Gas ( currently known as Laugf Gas ), Premier LP Gas ( 100% Subsidiary of Global Oil Major Total Elf Fina ) and has maintained 100% market share over the years till 2006 

since 1998 of a 40,000 MT – 50,000 MT market per annum with Currently to the tune of 800 K MT( around 800.000 Metric Tons ), we have around 45 to 50 % Share of the market.  Vincent Impex has been instrumental in also providing advisory services in consulting and logistical support to the Import Based LPG Terminal operators. Vincent Impex have been also engaged in providing Engineering Consultancy support for LPG Terminal operators from 1998.

Upstream Oil & Gas Project Experience

We have been engaged in various capacities with the following Global Conglomerates :

MURCO PETROLEUM( Subsidiary of Murphy Petroleum USA ):  An Integrated Oil Company with a USD 4 Billion dollar annual turnover  ) – engaged as consultants to prepare the Exploration Concession Bid Proposal for the second Exploration Bidding Round.

 

Occidental Energy Ventures USA( Subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum, USA ), – engaged as local consultants for Technical survey, Environmental permitting, Information of Tariff structures for a 300 MW gas based Combined Cycle Independent Power Project during March 1995 – November 1995 which later did not materialize as Occidental sold off its Interest to UNOCAL on the Oil & Gas concessions they were operating.

As consultants on behalf identified and assessed Oil & Gas Related opportunities in Bangladesh for Premier Oil ( UK ) in 1996. . we had assisted in simulating detailed information of small scale gas field for development. At a later stage closely worked with Late Roland Shaw, the Founder Chairman of Premier Oil plc after his retirement from Premier Oil plc on assessing various Oil & Gas opportunities whilst he was chairman of the board of Heritage Oil

 

The company looked at various  Oil & Gas E&P opportunities in South Asia among which worked on various aspect of feasibility of putting in a Export based Offshore Methanol Project with natural gas feedstock from Bangladesh market during 1995 – 1998.

Renewable Energy :  Vincent Impex Limited worked closely with the UK arm of Darren Corporation, An Energy Consulting Group to bring forth/ develop an Innovative Energy Projects including Renewable Energy. The company piloted the first fully integrated Solar Irrigation Scheme for the Agro Farming Sector end of September 2007 for our partners Waste Concern ( www.wasteconcern.org ) .

Infrastructure Project

INTER LOCKING SIGNALLING SYSTEM FOR RAILWAY AND METRO NETWORKS

The company have been engaged with the Global Leader in Transport communication and Signalling , Ansaldo STS since 2003 in facilitating and providing complete sales, local Enginnering and maintenance support in successfully securing the following projects for the first time for Bangladesh Railway Network under the rehabilitation of the Nationawide Signalling and Telecom networks for Bangladesh Railway.

The company has worked with Ansaldo STS (formerly known as Union Switch & Signal) as their local partners for having facilitated the execution of  following projects :

 

  1. Modernisation of signaling and interlocking system at 4 stations in West Zone under Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge project of Bangladesh Railway.
  2. Modernisation of signaling, Interlocking and block working system at 12(twelve) stations between Akhaura – Sylhet secton of Bangladesh Railway.
  3. Modernisation of signaling, Interlocking and block working system in connection with Dual Guage at 6(six) stations between Dhaka – Joydevpur secton of Bangladesh Railway.

Presently we are engaged with Ansaldo in the process of finalizing the following projects :

 

  1. Modern signaling, interlocking and block working system for Chinkiastana – Lakhsam double Line Track project as consortium member with Chinese Company under JICA Funding.
  2. Modern signaling, interlocking and block working system for Chittagong Station Yard Remodeling project as consortium partner with a Bangladeshi Company under JICA Funding.
  3. Modernisation of signaling, Interlocking and block working system at 11(eleven) stations between Ishurdi – Darsana secton of West Zone of Bangladesh Railway under ADB funding.
  4. Preparing for the Techno economic feasibility proposal for the upcoming Metro Projects.

AGRO COMMODITIES

Vincent Impex Limited have been dealing in agro Commodities particularly in the area of Dairy Trade for the last 5 years. Vincent Impex has been involved in developing substantial market share with annual Trading turnover of USD 6 million per annum of Dairy Products and Ingredients to some of the largest private sector dairy producers of Dairy Powder Brands such as Abul Khair Group and Partex Group for their associate Parmalat Canada from 2000 to 2003 till the Export Subsidiary based in Montreal, Canada was dissolved and restructured in the Group Restructuring process.

We have been promoting sales on behalf of our Dutch Partners ECOVAL Dairy Trading Group BV( www.ecoval.com – One of the Largest Integrated Dairy companies worldwide both a Producer and Trader headquartered in the Netherlands) since 2002 averaging sales of USD 6 – 8 million dollars per annum and sale of 3,500 MT – 4,000 Mt of all kinds Milk Powders and derivatives since 2004 to all the major Private Sector Dairy Producers such as Abul Khair Group, Partex Group, Sanowara Corporation and Pran Group.

Vincent Impex Limited also associated with Mahaan Foods( www.mahaanfoods.com ) from India since 2002 for marketing their Dairy products and Ingredients for the Dairy Industry in Bangladesh and successfully completed lots of supply contract with major buyers in Bangladesh like Abul Khair Group, Danish Condensed Milk Products Ltd, Sanowara Corporation etc.

Vincent Impex has also been involved over the years in facilitating Trade of Refined Sugar and Wheat to Private Sector Buyers. Our Group senior management have been instrumental to materialize a deal for 100,000 MT Non Basmati Rice to Ministry of Food under a State to State Corporation deal with State Trading Corporation of India( STC ) in 1995
